Fifteen VCs, CEOs, C-suite Operators and APAC regional leaders in a private room in Melbourne, talking about the application of AI across their very different verticals.

In late September we held another Perpetuate lunch, this time in Melbourne: fifteen VCs, CEOs, C-suite Operators and APAC regional leaders in a private room.
The macro theme, and everybody's topic du jour right now, was the application of AI across different verticals.

I am very conscious of bringing different spectrums of tech into these rooms. This one ran from leaders at a roughly $20 billion Silicon Valley decacorn, to pre-seed venture capitalists, to ASX-listed and PE- and investment-banking-backed CEOs, to ex-founders with exit track records.
What we love about these lunches (and dinners) is the curated diversity of backgrounds, opinions and lived experience. It makes for lively discussion with people who bring different, and at the same time often shared, points of view. The same question lands differently at a pre-seed fund, inside an ASX-listed company and inside a Silicon Valley decacorn. The room is small enough that everyone hears all three answers.
There's real value in discussing the opportunities and challenges of AI with people who bring diverse perspectives and experiences, in an environment that encourages open discussion and debate.
Jason Cooper, Gigacomm, in the comments afterwards.
We host these partly because the conversation is better than any we could have one person at a time, and partly because a room like this is the most honest read available on what is actually changing inside serious companies. Knowing that is the research side of our job. Nobody is selling anything at these tables, including us.
The full table is on the LinkedIn post. Sydney was in August. If you are a founder, CEO or lead investor and would like to be in the room next time, message me on LinkedIn →
